Thank you for your interest in Clockworks products. We maintain a second website, http://store.clk.works, for ordering. That allows this site to have lots of technical detail and the store site to be a simple catalog like experience.

While we (actually Shopify captures it to keep it all safe and secure, we never get to see it) authorize your payment information when you place the order we do not actually capture it until the order ships.

We do that as we want to double check that orders are correct; there are a growing number of options and there can be some combinations that we may want to confirm with you.

Some products are kept partially completed and we finish assembly to match the order requirements.

Typical order fulfillment times are 1 to 3 days; we’ll contact you if something in your order needs longer to be ready.

For custom products and other special order items Clockworks currently uses PayPal for Business to invoice for all sales. You do not need a PayPal account, but you must provide Clockworks with the billing email address if it’s different than the email address that you contacted us with.

Shipping

For standard products we use Shopify’s shipping calculator to find the best shipping price. Generally this means USPS or UPS shipping, sometimes DHL is used.

Shipping is included in your invoice. In some cases only an estimated shipping cost may be able to be provided until the order is filled.

For custom products or special requests we’ll provide an estimate.

Taxes

Orders shipped to Massachusetts addresses include a 6.25% sales tax unless a tax exemption certificate has been supplied. All other shipments the sales taxes are the purchaser’s responsibility.

Warranty

Excluding failure from improper use, all hardware is warrantied for 90 days from the date of shipment. Defective hardware may be returned to Clockworks for repair, replacement, or credit towards a future purchase.

Special order items

All non-standard items are NCNR once the order is placed.

Returns

Unused standard product still in its original packaging may be returned for credit for the value of product within 2 calendar weeks of shipment. You must contact Clockworks to obtain an RMA number before returning any product for credit.
