DigitalBlox, like the complementary AnalogBlox products, offer a way for system to developers to get hardware platforms to your software developers without needing to wait for custom hardware designs to be completed and tested.
The DigitalBlox system is processor agnostic, the functional modules like ADC and DACs can be used with any processor that supports standard I2S, I2C, and GPIO. For even more system architecture choices the control processor can be separate from the signal processing engine.
By providing standard functions off-the-shelf system builder can focus on the specific value added features of your product. All SignalBlox hardware is open source hardware (CC BY-SA), making it easy to modify the designs quickly to solve your specific design problems.
DigitalBlox products include both mixed signal and digital only modules. 8 channel ADC and DAC modules, along with A2B interface and SHARC Audio Module adapters are detailed here, along with a carrier board for creating a typical processing chain of ADC, DSP, and DACs.
A technical guide to SignalBlox hardware design, the connectors, and mechanical information is available on the Reference page.
These boards are currently available for pre-order at this time. Hardware shipments are expected to commence in July for these boards.
