Clockworks has expanded its offering of modular A2B options with a new A2B to I2S/I2C/GPIO breakout module that allows customers to use their own preferred A2B connectors instead of the DuraClik connectors normally used on development boards.
At the same time we’ve also introduced five plug-on modules to simplify hardware development – these plug-ons do use DuraClik connectors to facilitate their use as a standardized platform.
For example, combining the AB0003P module:
with the AB0105 4 channel microphone array:
creates a compact phantom powered node for developing audio beam forming and related speech processing system applications:
The six new boards (eight if you count the two with variants) are:
AB0003L/P – A2B OEM module
AB0106L/P – general purpose I/O – I2S, I2C, and GPIO – for local/phantom powered A2B client (slave) node
AB0108 – general purpose I/O – I2S, I2C, and GPIO – for local powered A2B root (master) node. Requires external SYNC signal.
AB0110 – general purpose I/O – I2S, I2C, and GPIO – for local powered A2B root (master) node. Includes clock generation for SYNC and BCLK signals.
AB0109 – quad module carrier with breakout connectors and 40 Blinkenlichten. Simplest way to build a multinode system in minimal space.
AB0105 – phantom powered four channel microphone.
